Our Story

Gearzon started because we were tired of “best of” lists that read like a press release. Too many gaming gear roundups rank products by affiliate commission rather than real hands-on time. We wanted a site where a $20 mouse and a $350 headset get the same honest, no-nonsense treatment: genuine testing, a clear score, and a verdict that says exactly who a product is — and isn’t — for.

How We Test

Every review starts with the same question: would we actually recommend this to a friend? To answer it, we spend real time with the product — gaming sessions, everyday use, and, where possible, side-by-side comparisons against gear we’ve already reviewed in the same category. We combine that hands-on time with manufacturer specifications and, when available, in-depth video testing and teardown footage, so a review reflects both the numbers on the spec sheet and how the product actually feels to use.

Every finished review follows the same structure so you can scan it fast: a Quick Specifications table up top, a Pros and Cons breakdown, a Gearzon Score with Performance, Build, and Value bars, and a short, no-fluff verdict you can read in ten seconds.
